Remodeling in West Palm Beach: what to know

Older homes here often need updated plumbing and electrical along with the finishes, and condos come with association rules to plan around.

Who issues the permit

Inside city limits, permits go through the City of West Palm Beach. Many addresses nearby sit in unincorporated Palm Beach County, so we confirm jurisdiction before anything is filed.

We take on full-home renovations, kitchens and baths, open-concept conversions, condo and townhouse work, garage conversions, closets, trim and millwork.

Colby did a great job on our home remodel. He was super communicative, professional, and really hardworking. Even on his off days, he still answered our questions and made sure we felt good about everything. I really appreciated the way he understood our vision and gave helpful insight along the way. I’d definitely recommend Colby to anyone looking for solid remodeling work.Read full review

They did a perfect job replacing our countertops and backsplash. Helped with finding a stone company and consistently answered any questions we had. When I called I got quick responses. The owner, Colby Methany, is AMAZING. I have never met such a polite, kind owner of a company. Anyone needs contractors he’s the one. I can’t say enough about him and his company. Thank you for everything Colby!!Read full review

West Palm Beach remodeling questions

Still have a question? Call (561) 664-3256
Do I need a permit to remodel in West Palm Beach?

Work involving structure, plumbing, electrical or mechanical systems generally does. We confirm whether your address falls under the city or the county and handle the filing.

How much does a remodel cost in West Palm Beach?

Most bathroom renovations range from $15,000 to $45,000 and up, and kitchen remodels from $30,000 to $75,000, depending on scope, materials and whether the layout changes. Whole-home work is priced after a walkthrough, with an itemized estimate.

How long does a remodel take in West Palm Beach?

A typical bathroom takes three to six weeks of construction, a kitchen six to ten, and whole homes depend on scope. Permit review and association approvals add lead time before work starts, and we build that into your schedule.
