They were excellent, professional, tidy when they left each day and any issues were resolved immediately! Colby came to my house everyday to check on the progress and make sure everything was running smoothly. I am absolutely thrilled with my bathroom!! I would rate him and his team 10 out of 10 stars! What is aging-in-place remodeling?

It’s remodeling that makes a home safer and easier to use as needs change, such as walk-in showers, grab bars, wider doorways, better lighting and step-free entries, so you can stay in the home you love comfortably and independently.

Can you convert my tub into a walk-in shower?

Yes. We remove the tub, rework the drain for a low-threshold or curbless entry where the floor allows, waterproof the shower, and add a bench, handheld shower and grab-bar blocking. Plumbing changes are permitted and inspected.

How high should grab bars be installed?

ADA guidelines place grab bars 33 to 36 inches above the floor, and they must be anchored into blocking or framing, not just drywall. We position them around how you actually move in the space and can add blocking for future bars even if you don’t want them yet.

How wide should doorways be for a walker or wheelchair?

ADA guidelines call for at least 32 inches of clear opening, and many homeowners choose 36-inch doors where walls allow. Widening a doorway can involve framing and electrical changes, which we permit and inspect.

What is a comfort-height toilet?

A toilet with a seat about 17 to 19 inches above the floor, close to chair height, which makes sitting down and standing up easier than a standard-height toilet.

Do I need HOA or condo approval?
