Residences from that era are ideal for renovation. North2South Renovations remodels Boca Lago condos and villas from top to bottom, with modern kitchens, walk-in showers, new flooring and comfort upgrades, coordinated with your association’s approval process and building rules.

As a licensed Florida general contractor (License #CBC1269429) with 15 years of remodeling experience across Palm Beach County, we handle approvals, permits and construction with one point of contact.

Many Boca Lago units still have original layouts, closed-in kitchens and older bathrooms, along with aging plumbing and electrical. Full renovations are common, especially for buyers, and owners frequently add walk-in showers and comfort features at the same time.

Each Boca Lago neighborhood has its own association with rules for renovation approval, contractor registration, work hours and flooring sound control. Boca Lago is in the unincorporated area west of Boca Raton, so permits are typically issued by Palm Beach County. We confirm the requirements for your address and manage both.

Colby and his team at North2South Renovations are the best choice for remodeling and renovation in Delray Beach — and all of South Florida across the board! Not just in the quality of their work, but their quality as people. As a young, single, woman homeowner, I hesitated to hire any professional contractors and was nervous to allow them into my home. I struggled finding someone I could trust, and did most of the work by myself for the first 4 years. I was referred to North2South by friends, and I only wish I met Colby and his team sooner! At all times, myself, my roommate, AND my pets all felt comfortable and happy to have Colby’s team — Brian, Caiden, Chad, and Scotty working on our home. From the first consult, I could tell he is very passionate about the work, quality, and making the clients’ dreams come to life. This is not one of those companies where the GC is this illusory figure who is hard to reach, and subcontracts out everything, or who only shows up when convenient for him. Colby was there every step of the way, making sure everything went smoothly from designing, permitting, reconfiguring, demo, installation, coordinating deliveries, and more. On top of it all, the prices are very fair, and you can tell he cares more about producing quality work and the name of the company he’s built than just making money. I absolutely LOVE my new ceiling, windows, and countertops. I would absolutely recommend North2South to anyone who’s looking for the best kitchen, bathroom, or whole home renovation in Delray Beach, FL and greater Palm Beach County area. I would and hopefully WILL gladly hire them again.Read full review

I live in an attached villa in Delray Beach built in 1990. I wanted to improve my whole kitchen and the outer area in my master bath. Having never done this before I set out to find a company to do the job. After a few calls to friend’s referrals, it felt as if it was too small a job to warrant much attention from them, basically they ignored me because business is booming nowRead full review

I recently had my master bathroom completely renovated by North 2 South Renovations, and I truly cannot say enough good things about the entire experience. From the very beginning, Colby, the founder, was an exceptional communicator. He was responsive, professional, and offered thoughtful suggestions that really helped bring the vision together. His guidance made decision-making so much easier, and it was clear he genuinely cared about the end result. His team—Brian, Chad, Leo, Scotty, and Caden were outstanding. Each one of them took tremendous pride in their workmanship, and it showed in every detail. They were consistently on time, worked efficiently, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was done right. It’s rare to find a crew that is not only skilled, but also so respectful and considerate. They treated my home with care, always covering furniture and protecting surrounding areas, which I truly appreciated. You could tell they respected the space as if it were their own. The transformation of my 30-year-old bathroom is incredible. The finished product exceeded my expectations, and the quality of the work speaks for itself. They truly went the extra mile in every aspect of the project. If you’re looking for a company that is professional, reliable, and delivers beautiful results, I highly recommend North 2 South Renovations. I am beyond thrilled with my new bathroom.Read full review

Frequently Asked Questions

Still have a question? Call (561) 664-3256
Do I need association approval to renovate in Boca Lago?

Yes, in most cases. Boca Lago’s neighborhoods each have an association that reviews renovation applications, contractor credentials and insurance before work begins. We prepare the paperwork and coordinate with management.

Who issues building permits in Boca Lago?

Boca Lago is in the unincorporated area west of Boca Raton, where permits are typically issued by Palm Beach County rather than the City of Boca Raton. Remodels involving plumbing, electrical or structural work require a permit. As your licensed general contractor (License #CBC1269429), we confirm the jurisdiction for your address and handle the application, plan review and inspections.

Can you renovate an older Boca Lago condo completely?

Yes. Full renovations of late-1970s condos and villas are among our most common projects. We replace aging plumbing and electrical where needed and work within your association’s rules.

How much does a remodel cost in Boca Lago?

Most bathroom renovations range from $15,000–$45,000+ and kitchen remodels from $30,000–$75,000, depending on scope, materials and whether the layout changes. Full condo or villa renovations are priced by scope after a walkthrough, with an itemized estimate so you know exactly what is included.

Can the work be done while I’m away for the season?

Yes. Many Boca Lago owners are seasonal. We coordinate access with you and the association, send progress updates and photos, and walk the finished project with you when you return.

Do you work in other West Boca communities?

Yes. We remodel homes throughout West Boca, including Boca Pointe, Boca West and The Polo Club. Visit our West Boca Raton remodeling page to see the communities we serve.
